How Credit Is Awarded…
All work at The Community Schoolhouse shall be assessed with
respect to a Levels of Mastery System. The
Levels of Mastery indicates the degree of proficiency that has been achieved in
content knowledge and skills through the work that has been completed.
Students will be expected to continue to work at improving any skill or
content area knowledge until a
mastery level is achieved.
The Levels of Mastery shall also be used to assign letter
grades for Salem-Keizer grade reports and transcripts.

Student's
work ethic should reflect that they are devoting serious energy
toward performances that are done at the highest level of quality.
All work produced in should represent a student's best efforts. Neatness, organization, detail, completeness, creativity, clarity and
insight will be a necessary and
natural part of all work submitted.
Student's
will be expected to revise their work in order to achieve high quality results.
Being a successful independent learner and a team player are goals for each
student. They must show
initiative, self-direction, and planning in all they do and are expected to meet
deadlines.
