Molly is a high school teacher with 16 years of teaching experience in the field of science including physical science, biology, chemistry, and environmental science. A native of Oregon, her teaching career has been centered in the Willamette Valley where she taught for nine years at South Salem High School. In addition, Molly has served as a Science Methods Instructor in the Master of Arts in Teaching Program at Willamette University.

Molly is a co-founder of The 21st Century International Schoolhouse organization. Her strengths in standards-based education are in the development of effective student learning structures, particularly in terms of breaking down the traditional barriers of time, curriculum, and classroom walls. In the past eight years, she has spearheaded educational reform movements by creating a number of integrated and flexible programs that promote contextual learning.

Molly co-developed a successful integrated course in Environmental Issues that melds science, economics, and government. Using the educational framework she co-developed with Andrew Goldstein, she has helped students around the world reach highly professional performance levels. She has trained schools in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, Israel, Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Palestine, South Africa, and Uganda.

Molly is the recipient of the SciMat Fellowship and the Christa McAuliffe Fellowship and has been awarded two professorships, an Oregon Science Teacher of the Year award, and numerous educational and corporate support grants.
