A New Century---A New Game
Directions:
Complete the following task and questions based on the Critical Thinking
requirements outlined on the portfolio assignment direction sheet:
- Complete a timeline for the years 1900-1910 based on the Timeline Layout
requirements. (See portfolio assignment directions sheet).
- For the time period, 1900-1910, select a person who was inducted into the
Baseball Hall of Fame. Go to:
http://www.baseballhalloffame.org/hofers_and_honorees/lists/inducted.htm
Research information about that person and provide at least three reasons
for their selection. For each example, write a paragraph. Include a picture
of this person.
3) After reviewing your timeline, select what you consider to be the most
important historical event of the decade (1900-1910).
Provide at least two reasons for your
selection. For each reason, write a one-paragraph explanation.
Include a picture that represents your selected event.
