Dear Mr. DeJardin:

Thank you so much for taking me on a tour of your school on Monday.  I'm glad to hear that you're doing well, and I hope your success bodes well for other charter schools around Oregon.

I also appreciated your willingness to allow your students to work with me to improve our website so we can engage more of our young people in the political process.  Your students are obviously very skilled at web design, and they had fabulous ideas about how to redesign our site.  I'm very excited about the potential of this project.  Please pass along my appreciation to Andrew, Alison, Alex and Heather.  I'm looking forward to working with them on this project.

My staff and I will be in contact with you as we continue this work.  Once again, thank you for all of your hard work for our students.
