Another component of the International Schoolhouse program is Global Collaboration. Students collaborate with other students via email, websites, and Conferences such as the 2004 Greece Caretakers Conference.
The Greece Conference will Take place in Thessaloniki, Greece on June 30th-July 4th in the premises of the American Farm School (AFS). The conference will involve those interested in the practice and theory of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), through Local Agenda 21. (Agenda 21 is the global environmental program and statement of principles agreed to at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro in 1992).
