                ·        The Electromagnetic spectrum

·        The creation of artificial elements

·        How Radar works

·        Cosmic radiation

For your selected scientific/technological event, describe or explain the discovery or breakthrough, who  were the scientists involved and include at least one visual to help illustrate the concepts.

6)     While Hitler used elimination of “imperfect” people to establish a master race, the scientific research of the Eugenics Movement of the same era promoted “better people” through genetics and selective breeding.  Although Eugenic research and practices could lead to positive medical advances based on understanding heredity, some believe it to be morally wrong.  Should government ban Eugenic research because leaders, such as Hitler, could use the knowledge to promote racial classification, separation and racist ideology?  Explain your point of view and provide examples.

    7)  Complete your two creative outcomes for the years 1935-1941 based on the Creative Outcomes requirements. (See portfolio assignment direction sheet.)
