A Brave New World:

Steps and Timeline

 To insure a quality Brave New World project, each group needs to complete your work based on the following steps and timeline.  Check off each step as you go. 

1. Begin research phase.  Collect information using note cards based on project requirements.  Use the  CIA World Factbook to begin your research:

Assign specific research responsibilities to group members based on project requirements.

          Complete no later than Wednesday, November 22, 2000

2. Brainstorm and create a blueprint for the presentation of your overall project.  Blueprints must be approved by each teaching team.  Once blueprint is approved and signed off by each teaching team and you can demonstrate that you have accomplished some of the work on the project,  you will receive your presentation boards for the project.

 Complete no later than Tuesday, November 28, 2000

3. Assign specific responsibilities and check-points for completing the project requirements.  Complete Project Planning Grid.

Complete no later than Wednesday, November 29, 2000

 4. Receive at least one quality check-point signature from EACH teaching team.  All quality signature need to be received not later than:

Complete no later than Tuesday December 5, 2000

5. Turn in completed project:

 Due Date:  Wednesday December 6, 2000
